Our Story

Steve and Robin Pierson founded Stowe Maple Products in 1987, following in the bootsteps of Steve’s long-standing family tradition of making maple syrup. Today we harvest sap from four wild forests in Stowe, VT, trucking it back to boil on a 150-year-old evaporator in our sugarhouse on the RT100/Waterbury-Stowe Rd.

We’re dedicated to maintaining the honesty, integrity, and quality of the products you purchase from us for your family and friends. Continuing to educate ourselves, keeping up-to-date, and objectively vetting continually evolving maple research and technology is very important to us.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us for over 35 years, we’re deeply grateful. We’ve been content growing our business simply and slowly over the years, and enjoyed personally visiting with our guests whether it was answering questions, digging you out of a snowbank, fixing a flat, giving directions, making recommendations, offering samples, taking your picture, or calling a tow truck.
